Connecting your card reader is a straightforward process within the Workshop platform. Here is how to get your hardware synced up and ready for transactions.
How to Connect
Navigate to Settings: Go to Configuration > Payments Integration on the left-hand sidebar.
Mobile Users: Tap the hamburger menu (three horizontal lines) in the top-left corner to find the sidebar.
Select Your Provider: You will see a menu of available integrations. Choose the one that matches your hardware:
Square
Zettle by PayPal
SumUp
Stripe
Follow the On-Screen Prompts: Each provider will walk you through a specific authorization or pairing process to link your account and device.
Important Integration Limitations
Keep these specific use-case limitations in mind:
The Stripe implementation is limited to taking pre-payments during the booking process.
The SumUp implementation is limited to sending payments to a Solo reader from an invoice.
The Square implementation is limited to taking payments from a Square reader.
