This guide explains how to customize the notifications you receive from Workshop by bikebook. You can control which types of messages the system sends to you.
Steps:
Navigate to Configuration:
Locate the main navigation menu on the left-hand side of your Workshop by bikebook interface.
Click on "CONFIGURATION".
Access Notifications Settings:
Within the "CONFIGURATION" section, find and click on "Notifications". This area manages the settings for various system-generated alerts and messages.
Customize Your Notification Preferences:
On the "Notifications" page, you see a list of different types of messages that Workshop by bikebook can send you. These are categorized for clarity.
For each notification type, you find options to enable or disable it. These options are presented as toggle switches.
Examples of Notification Settings:
New Job Received: This setting controls whether you receive a notification when a new job is logged into the system. Enable this to stay immediately informed of new work.
Unread Message Alert: This setting controls notifications for unread messages within the system, such as when a customer has replied to a communication and the message has been unread for a specified duration (e.g., more than 2 hours). Enabling this helps ensure timely responses to customer inquiries.
Newsletter Subscription: This setting allows you to manage your subscription to the Workshop by bikebook newsletter, if one is offered. Enable this to receive updates, tips, and news from the platform.
Review each notification type and adjust the corresponding setting according to your preferences. Tick the checkbox or toggle the switch to the "on" or "enabled" position for the notifications you want to receive. Untick the checkbox or toggle the switch to the "off" or "disabled" position for the notifications you do not want to receive.
Save Your Changes:
After adjusting your notification preferences, click the "Save" button (or a similar button like "Apply Changes" or "Update Settings") to store your modifications.
By customizing your notification settings, you tailor the alerts you receive from Workshop by bikebook to match your workflow and priorities. This helps you stay informed about critical events without being overwhelmed by less important messages.
