Use Remind when you need to return to an in-app notification later. The notification leaves your feed until the chosen time, then returns as unread.
Set a reminder
Open Notifications in Workshop on the web or in the Workshop mobile app.
Find the notification and choose Remind, beside Mark As Read.
Choose In one hour, Tomorrow at 9am, or In one week at 9am.
Check the confirmation showing the reminder date and time.
Tomorrow and next week use the local time on the device where you set the reminder. Next week means seven calendar days from today at 9am. In one hour means 60 minutes from now.
What happens to the notification?
Until the reminder is due, the item is hidden from your All, Business and Personal feeds and does not count towards your unread total. When it is due, it returns as unread near the top of your feed when Notifications refreshes.
The reminder belongs to you. Setting it does not hide the notification or set a reminder for your colleagues.
Undo or mark as read
To cancel the reminder straight away, choose Undo in the confirmation before closing the notification tray. The item returns to your feed. If Undo fails, the confirmation and error stay available so you can retry.
When a reminder returns and you have dealt with it, choose Mark As Read. This acknowledges the due reminder. Mark All As Read does not cancel reminders scheduled for the future.
If something looks wrong
A notification disappeared: it may have a future reminder. Check the confirmation time when setting a reminder, and use Undo if you deferred it by mistake.
A reminder has not returned: check the time, selected business and audience filter, then refresh Notifications.
Setting a reminder fails: the time chooser stays open with an error. Follow the message and retry; wait for the confirmation before assuming it was saved.
Remind is missing in the mobile app: check that you have the latest Workshop app update.
These reminders bring an item back into the in-app feed. They do not schedule an email, SMS or device push notification. For delivery preferences, see Manage notification settings.
