Print job tickets and receipts

Configure separate job-ticket and receipt layouts, preview the right job or invoice, and print from your browser or device.

Job tickets are working sheets for the workshop. Receipts show a job invoice or counter sale for the customer. Their settings are separate in Configuration → Printing; neither uses the registered CloudPRNT label-printer selector.

Print from a job or sale

Open the job's three-dot action menu and choose Print Job Ticket or Print Receipt. A job needs an invoice before its receipt can be printed. For a counter sale or invoice, use its receipt print action.

Choose the destination printer, paper settings and copies in the browser or device print dialog. You can also use an available Save as PDF destination. On Apple mobile devices, the print document may open in a separate tab before the system print dialog.

For small identification stickers, choose Print Labels instead and follow the job-label guide.

Configure job tickets

Open Configuration → Printing, then select the row under Job tickets.

Job-ticket configuration on desktop
  1. Enter a name and choose A4 or Letter as the paper size.

  2. Choose the sections to include and use the up/down arrows to order them. The job number stays included.

  3. Set Workshop notes height (mm) to reserve writing space on the printed ticket. The other sections include customer details, bike details, services, notes, assigned mechanic and a scan code.

  4. Use the privacy checkboxes to hide customer name, email, phone or address on the output.

  5. Enter an existing Job number to preview the ticket. Use Test Print to check the draft through your browser or device before saving.

  6. Choose Save to use the ticket layout for future job tickets.

If the editor says your existing layout stays in use until you save, opening the editor has not switched the workshop to the new layout. Saving activates the selected A4/Letter profile. Receipt settings remain separate.

On phones, the editor stacks its sections vertically. Scroll within the dialog to reach the privacy controls and job preview; the Save action remains at the bottom.

Configure receipts

Return to Configuration → Printing and select the row under Receipts.

Receipt configuration on desktop
  1. Set Width in pixels for your receipt layout. This is separate from the job ticket's A4/Letter paper size and from label dimensions in millimetres.

  2. Choose which customer details to hide using the name, email, phone and address checkboxes.

  3. Enter an existing Invoice number to preview the receipt. This field needs the invoice number rather than the job number.

  4. Use Test Print, then choose the correct printer and paper settings in the browser/device dialog.

  5. Choose Save after changing the receipt settings.

Check the result

Before printing a batch, check page breaks, readable text, paper size and any scan code. The app preview and a successful browser print action cannot confirm what came out of the printer.

If a preview does not load, check that the job or invoice belongs to the selected workshop, that you entered the correct number and that your connection is working. Use the displayed retry action when available. If the system print dialog does not open, check whether the browser blocked the new print tab.

For printer registration, stock labels and label dimensions, use label printing setup.
