How to add line items to my services and job reports

Learn how to customise your job reports by adding or removing service line items. This guide covers editing service packages, creating custom tasks, and organising checklists by bike components like brakes or drivetrain.

Updated this week

This guide explains how to add specific line items to your service templates. These items allow you to detail the individual tasks or components included within a service package, providing a clear breakdown for both your mechanics and your customers.

Navigating to services

Start by locating the main navigation menu on the left hand side of your workshop interface. Click on services and then select all services to see your full list of service packages and individual offerings.

Customising a service package

To add or remove specific tasks within a package, follow these steps:

  1. Select a package: Click on the name of the service package you wish to modify (for example, basic service package).

  2. Locate component sections: Scroll down the configuration page to find sections organised by bike components, such as drivetrain, brakes, or wheels and tyres.

  3. Manage existing items: You will see a list of pre-defined suggestions. Simply untick the box next to any item you do not wish to include in this specific package.

  4. Edit item names: If you prefer different terminology, you can click directly on the name of a pre-defined item to rename it.

Adding your own custom items

If you need to include a task that is not already listed, you can create your own:

  • Find the relevant component section and click the button labelled add service item to... (for example, add service item to frame/fork).

  • A new text field will appear. Type in your custom task (such as inspect fork seals or check for frame damage).

  • Save the new item to ensure it is added to the list. You can repeat this process to build a comprehensive checklist for each category.
