Guide: Board Insights

Insights is a chart of the jobs currently on the board. It uses the same filters, search and finished-job window as the board you are looking at, including a saved view.

Open it

Click the chart button in the toolbar, or press Ctrl+Shift+I (Command+Shift+I on a Mac). The panel opens beside the board.

The … menu on the panel can copy a link to this chart, copy the numbers as Markdown, export a CSV, or refresh.

What the bars measure

Measure is what the length of a bar means.

  • Jobs. Each job once, however many bikes it has.

  • Bikes. Each card.

  • Value. The value of open work, the same measure as the column totals.

Slice is what each bar is, such as status or mechanic. Segment colours the pieces inside a bar by a second grouping. No segment leaves the bars one colour.

Jobs and bikes include finished jobs that the board is showing. Value counts open work only. The note at the bottom of the panel says which of those applies.

Narrow the board

Click a bar to show only those jobs on the board. The toolbar gains a chip named Showing, with the group you clicked. Clear the chip to go back to the whole board. The chip is not saved into the view.

Fill the board

Fill the board expands the chart over the board. Back to the side returns it to the panel.
