This guide explains how to remove a service from your Workshop by bikebook system. It also clarifies the visibility settings for services.
Steps:
Navigate to the Services Section:
Locate the main navigation menu on the left-hand side of your Workshop by bikebook interface.
Click on "SERVICES".
Access All Services:
Within the "SERVICES" section, click on "All Services". This will display a list of all the individual services currently configured in your system.
Delete a Service:
Locate the specific service you wish to remove from the list.
On the right-hand side of the row corresponding to that service, you should see an icon represented by three vertical dots (often referred to as a "more options" menu).
Click on these three dots.
A dropdown menu will appear with various options. Select "Delete" from this menu.
The system will likely ask you to confirm that you want to delete the service. Click "Confirm" or "Yes" to permanently remove the service.
Understand Service Visibility:
Within the "All Services" list, you should also see a column labeled "Visibility". This column allows you to control who can see a particular service.
External: If a service has "External" selected or indicated, it means this service is viewable and potentially bookable by the public through any customer-facing portals or online booking systems you have integrated with Workshop by bikebook.
Internal: If a service has "Internal" selected or indicated, it means this service is only visible to your mechanics and your business users within the Workshop by bikebook interface. It will not be displayed to the public.
You can typically change the visibility of a service by clicking on the current setting (either "External" or "Internal") in the "Visibility" column for that service. A dropdown menu or toggle will likely appear, allowing you to switch between the two options. Remember to save any changes you make to the visibility settings.
By following these steps, you can effectively remove services that are no longer offered or relevant. Additionally, understanding and utilizing the visibility settings allows you to control which services are presented to your customers and which are for internal use only, ensuring a streamlined and appropriate service listing.
