This guide explains how to hide services from public view within your Workshop by bikebook system. This is useful for services that are no longer offered to new customers, are for internal use only, or are temporarily unavailable.
Steps:
Navigate to the Services Section:
Locate the main navigation menu on the left-hand side of your Workshop by bikebook interface.
Click on "SERVICES".
Access All Services:
Within the "SERVICES" section, click on "All Services". This will display a list of all the individual services currently configured in your system.
Locate the Visibility Column:
Within the "All Services" list, find the column labeled "Visibility". This column controls whether a service is visible to the public or only internally to your workshop team.
Change Service Visibility to Internal:
For each service you wish to hide from the public, locate its corresponding row in the "All Services" list.
In the "Visibility" column for that service, check the current setting. If it is set to "External", this means the service is currently viewable (and potentially bookable) by the public.
Click on the "External" setting. A dropdown menu or a toggle option will likely appear.
Select "Internal" from the dropdown menu or toggle the switch to the "Internal" position. This will change the visibility setting for that service.
Ensure you save any changes you make to the visibility settings. There will usually be a "Save" button or similar at the top or bottom of the page.
By setting the visibility of a service to "Internal", you ensure that it is no longer displayed to your customers through any online booking portals or public-facing interfaces. It will remain visible and usable within your Workshop by bikebook system for your mechanics and internal business processes. This allows you to manage your service offerings effectively without deleting services that you might still need for existing bookings or internal record-keeping.
